Combining elements of the Jaguar and Mustang models, the Jag-Stang went into production after Cobain, who had only briefly played it on tour, was found dead in April 1994. The Fender Jag-Stang was an electric guitar produced by Fender and designed by Nirvana guitarist/vocalist Kurt Cobain. It was intended as a hybrid of two Fender electric guitars models: the Jaguar and the Mustang.
